ROGER EBERT MAKES MY YEAR/LIFE.
It’s taking everything in my power not to spontaneously buy a plane ticket to go to Chicago and bow down at the feet of Roger Ebert. He’s one of my personal heroes and the fact that his fingers have actually typed my name makes me incredibly happy. Comparing the film to a New Yorker short story really knocks my socks off: Read the full review here.
Here is the part where I pull out the quote about me and feel simultaneously proud and slightly embarrassed for posting it:
“Anna Margaret Hollyman, who plays Sarah, has a lovable screen presence. In this early leading role of a brief career, she has the sort of charm we felt from the first films of Sandra Bullock or Greta Gerwig. She deals with a lot of emotions in the film’s compact running time, and always feels natural and spontaneous.”
